As a cozy mystery lover in Toronto, I’m thrilled to dive into the 2026 Cozy Frolic A-Z Challenge #CozyFrolic2026 hosted by @bookfrolic. This year-long quest has me mapping out 26 reads: one for each alphabet letter, matched by the first letter of the author’s last name. It’s the perfect low-pressure way to expand my TBR while enjoying amateur sleuths, quirky towns, and zero gore.
What Makes This Challenge Irresistible?
Cozy mysteries are my escape: think teacups clinking amid clever clues, not crime scene chaos. The rules keep it simple and flexible:
- One book per letter (e.g., Agatha Christie counts for C).
- Any format: print, ebook, audiobook (even re-reads if you dare).
- Tricky letters like Q, X, Z? Use the letter anywhere in first or last name.
- Track via free templates from Book Frolic, post with #CozyFrolic2026, and tag @bookfrolic for features.
I’ve got a starter list from the challenge graphic, but gaps at I, N, U, V, Z mean adventure awaits.
