A quiet follow-up to a story I once wrote, and a small attempt at reawakening the art of storytelling in my life.
This piece is a return, not just to writing, but to something deeper: the slow-burning joy of crafting emotion, uncertainty, and quiet transformation through story. Years ago, I wrote a version of this called “The Rainbow.” The seed was there, but it hadn’t yet found its full bloom.
Waiting for Dawn is that bloom. It’s still soft, still simple. But now, I think it carries the patience and hope I’d always meant for it to hold.
