Inspiration
Stories have always been my compass. I’m inspired by the books I devour, especially cozy mysteries, whimsical fantasies, and tales full of heart, and by the what-ifs that spark when I imagine characters stepping off the page or rewriting their own destinies. My writing blends humor, magic, and emotion, exploring connection, identity, and the messy, tender ways we navigate life.
My Reading Type
I’m delightfully whimsical in my reading choices. Give me a book with a dead body, and I’m instantly hooked. Cozy mysteries will always hold a special place on my shelf, but lately, I’ve been venturing into new literary realms: metafiction that bends the rules of storytelling, magical fantasies that whisk me away to other worlds, and quirky, one-of-a-kind tales that make me laugh, gasp, or simply marvel at the author’s imagination. Basically, if a book surprises me or makes me see a story in a whole new way, it’s got my attention.
Personal Quirks
When I’m not lost in a cozy mystery or dreaming up a magical mess, you’ll usually find me exploring new places with my husband, trying out new foods (I’ll happily eat, but don’t ask me to cook), and lately, gushing over my brand-new niece. I’m also guilty of reading far past bedtime, starting way too many creative projects at once, and talking about fictional characters like they’re real people. (Because honestly — aren’t they?)
