Welcome to Views She Writes. I write honest, thoughtful reviews, with care and respect, especially in support of indie voices.

Reading has shaped my world, and reviewing is my way of celebrating stories that move me, challenge me, or linger in the quiet moments. If you are here, thank you for considering sharing your work with me.

What I like to read

My reading preferences lean towards:

• Murder & Cozy mysteries – including historical settings with strong, witty female leads
• Psychological thriller and suspense
• Chick-lit & feel-good fiction
• Literary, quiet fiction with emotional depth

I generally avoid:

• Books centered around graphic violence, torture, or sexual abuse
• Horror
• Erotica
• Explicit adult content or trauma-heavy themes

If your story falls into a grey area, feel free to email and I will let you know if it is a good fit.

My Review Approach

I offer sincere constructive reviews based on my reading experience.

Reviews are published directly on my blog, and I don’t share drafts in advance. If I make a factual error (like a character name or timeline), I’ll gladly correct it—but the review’s tone and opinions reflect my genuine impressions and won’t be edited.

If I begin reading a book and realize it is not a fit (due to content or personal reasons), I reserve the right to discontinue. I’ll notify you respectfully and explain why. This doesn’t close the door for future books.

Where Reviews are shared

All reviews are published on Views She Writes and may also be shared on platforms including Goodreads, Amazon, Harcover, Medium, etc. If there is another platform you’d like me to post on, just ask!

Sharing and Credit

Authors are encouraged to share my posted review on their own website or social media. All I ask is that you link back to my original blog post. This helps more readers discover both of our works.
